Alexis, Ms. Alexis, or “Auntie A,” is how my family and I
referred to Alexis.
Alexis was one of those persons who drew you into her
world. Her family became your family, and her friends
your friends.
She was always kind, thoughtful, and very accommodating.
There are many memories of Alexis that we will always
cherish, like Nathalie’s first trip to Orlando, where we
stayed with family and had the most wonderful time at
Disney World, and another trip to Orlando, where we
learned the art of shopping online before leaving Nassau
and unwrapping goodies and repacking bags once we
arrived at our destination. We also knew exactly where
we would go and what we would do for the rest of the
trip, as she ensured that a well-planned itinerary was made
beforehand for a successful vacation.
We will remember trips to the parks and beaches,
her attendance at birthday parties and graduation,
driving and life lessons (Nathalie), Computer
lessons (Delita,???), and hanging out with all.
Oh, did we forget to mention Asue, manicures, pedicures,
and flat Stanley?
Alexis, Ms. Alexis, “Auntie A,” from the bottom of our
hearts, thanks for everything… until we meet again!
