'Pinky' or 'Aunti A' as she was affectionately called, loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest!

It was a joyous occasion when Tezel and Edmund announced the arrival of a beautiful, bouncing baby girl on February 27, to whom they gave the name Alexis Bernadette Stevenson.

Alexis was raised in a loving, Christian home where she learned to play and share with her siblings. With God as her first love, Alexis committed to Him at the tender age of nine, and was baptized at Baptist Bible Church, which she and her family attended shortly after that. Family, hard work, discipline, honesty, and determination were deep rooted in her household and thus became an integral part of her life. So much so that she passed these indelible qualities on to her nieces, nephews, and god children. Alexis visited Evangelistic Temple and loved the atmosphere so much that she became a member in 2017.

Alexis attended Sandilands and T. I. Gibson Primary, D. W. Davis Jr, and Government High School. After working for several years she realized that she had a passion for Accounts and decided to pursue it and a profession. She attended The College of The Bahamas, obtaining an Associate of Arts Degree in Accounting. Alexis continued her educational journey Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia Canada where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration specialization in Accounting. In addition to her Accounting degree, she was working on attaining a Modern Language Degree in Spanish.

Alexis’ degree in Accounting opened many doors of opportunity. It allowed her to work at numerous establishments including Fashion Hall, The University of The Bahamas, Cable Bahamas, CSA Wholesale, and The American Embassy.

‘Pinky’ or ‘Aunti A’ as she was affectionately called, loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest.

Alexis knew how to travel and seize the day!

Alexis loved to travel and seized the moment whenever the opportunity presented itself. This was displayed in her travels to Dubai, Australia, Hon Kong, New Zealand, Africa, Jamaica, Canada, Cuba, and the USA, to name a few.
